At Hop Skip Jump Learning, we offer both private tutoring and group tutoring sessions that run for an hour. Both sessions are taken by qualified and experienced teachers, who tailor the learning to the student’s needs and goals.

Private Tutoring

These sessions are extremely personalised. Each child has their very own program according to their needs, abilities, and interests. These sessions target the child’s learning gaps and next stages of their learning. You can opt for these sessions to occur at home or in a local Gold Coast Library.

Semi-Private Tutoring

All children have their own learning goals and objectives, but, as they are part of a group, they learn with and alongside other students and engage in group and team learning games and situations. These sessions occur at local Gold Coast Libraries.

But which one is best for your child?

To get the most out of your child’s tutoring sessions, it is important to really think about this question. 

If your child works best independently, or if you want specific learning areas targeted, private tutoring is your best option. Private sessions focus only on your child’s needs, and no one else’s. These sessions target students learning gaps and ways of learning.

If your child works best in group situations, semi-private tuition is a great choice. Children often find group learning more enjoyable as they get to work alongside peers. They also get to learn how to bounce ideas off each other, whilst improving their creativity and collaboration skills.
