WELCOME MESSAGE
Welcome and thank you for your interest in our high quality Gold Coast tutoring services at Hop Skip Jump Learning. Before outlining the foundations of our learning community, let me first extend a warm welcome to you for taking the time to visit this site and explore what we have to offer for you and your family.
As the Founder of Hop Skip Jump Learning, I have a strong passion for educating and enriching the minds of young children. I am an experienced and qualified educator with a substantial array of degree qualifications. I am a firm believer that quality teachers are committed to continuously educate themselves and use these skills to provide purposeful learning experiences for children. I am also a mum and understand why we as parents strive to always give our children the very best.
When I took a step back from the classroom to pursue full-time PhD studies in 2020, I recognised there was a serious need for quality tutoring services for children to access outside of the classroom on the Gold Coast. I specifically noticed there was a lack of tutoring services offered where children could work with a qualified teacher who has university training in delivering curriculum. From workplace experience, I also understood the need for children to work with a tutor who understands how classrooms work, can cater to individual learning styles, and identify purposeful learning goals. This is the foundation on which Hop Skip Jump Learning was built.
I am excited for the opportunities and services Hop Skip Jump Learning has to offer to you and your family who are seeking quality education services. I look forward to personally welcoming you into our learning community.

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We have had the best experience with Hop Skip Jump and we have gone through many many tutors over the years. Our daughter adores her tutor and the improvement she has made in such a short time proves that our tutor is an expert in her field. I wish I found Hop Skip Jump sooner however very happy that we have now.”

“We had an amazing experience with Hop Skip Jump Learning. Our daughter was falling behind in Grade 3 maths. One term with Cherie and she is now confident and also received a head start on Year 4 maths! Investing in your kids future is always money well spent. Thank you.”

“Our two boys have had weekly private tutoring sessions with Hop Skip Jump Learning for 4-5 months now. Since then both boys have consistently demonstrated impressive progress in both Maths and English, and a newfound confidence and motivation for school. I absolutely 10/10 recommend Hop Skip Jump Learning to any parent considering a tutor for their child.”
